Is the free Traffic Geyser download really free? As a natural born skeptic, this is what I look for. I want to know the catch, because there is always a catch. According to the Traffic Geyser site, there is no catch. Well, except the one thing. They want your e-mail address.
Again the skeptic in me says, “Why do you want my e-mail?” If the product is really free, then shouldn’t I be able to just download the product with no strings attached? Well, they want your e-mail. So I had to find out why they really wanted my e-mail. It turns out they want to add you to their mailing list. Of course, they have a privacy policy that says they won’t sell you e-mail, blah blah blah.
Now my flags have all risen to full mass. That is the catch. Traditional sales policy says that you need 7 points of contact before you can sell an item to someone. Even Traffic Geyser uses this strategy when showing you how to sell on the Internet. Now, I know if I am added to this list then they are hoping to build trust with me to sell me something later.
More research and I found out what it is they are trying to sell me. They actually have several products for sell. Traffic Geyser is a video submission service and tends to be among the top. This is probably what most Internet marketers will want and quite frankly can use. However, what they are really trying to get you to buy is the training from Jeff. He offers small group training for Internet marketing at a hefty price. It may be worth it, and it may not. I wouldn’t really know.
So there it is the catch. If you want the free download without the catch, then you can get around it. You can sign up for the product, download the product and then cancel your subscription. It really is pretty simple to cancel, as there is a link at the bottom of the e-mail. There you go–a free download with an easy-to-bypass catch.
