They are not the same league. Weir said in his interview, that Plushenko was better, but the games were in North America, soo.. Of cause Plushenko is a true king and deserved to be OC. This were the words of Weir. But for me, Lysacek was not better than Weir, so I can not understand the difference between 1 -6. And yes, Chan was also completely overscored, He shouldn’t even end in T10.

They were biased …
They were biased already in SP, given him Scores (3 judges) for SS and Tr. for place 21-22. You can like or dislike Plushenko, but he is definitely not a skater for place 21-22. And I think that Lysacek was overscored, because Takahashi was much better in his SP. The difference after SP should be at least 3 points to other skaters, because SP is a technical Programm, with lot of elements and this transition stuff is biased, because in SP they do the same stuff.

@bringabringo -I am not stupid.I am American but I don’t like Lysacek cuz I think he has a “wierd ” vibe about him.I am a big fan of Plushenko’s but they both skated good.I busted out laughing when Plushenko did the tippie toes and the sexual hip movements!

aww no I love …
aww no I love Plushenko! ^_^ he was really good on the ice. I loved Lysacek as well. They were both so graceful on the ice. Plushenko was known for his jumps more than his foot work. The music he chose was beautiful. Was is called “Fallen Angel”? I’ve been trying to look it up.

Unfortunately for Miss Plushenko, quadruple without artistry and presentation is a recipe for olympic disaster. The American performed a well- balanced technical program with superb artistry and presentation garnering him countless points even without a quad. Furthermore it is disgusting? for Miss Plushenko to belittle women’s athletic ability by saying in his press release that “triples are for women, quads are for men”. Miss Plushenko, you are bitter and classless. Take your siilver and go!!

@nadzuki88 – not true. Lysacek is far from my favorite skater and I am from the US. But I am glad he beat Plushenko. I am not a fan of Plushy’s skating at all, I find it ugly. Evan is far from the best in the world, but he WAS the best the night of the men’s long program in Vancouver.

Come on! What’s wrong with you, guys? Why do you always have to argue? I am from Russia and i love Plushenko with all my heart and of course i’m sorry about his defeat. But when i see this in comments it makes me really sad. It’s just like mixing policy with sports.
And of course, for anyone of you, your nation figure skater will always remain the best one.

American dude …
American dude skated his off to bit Plushenko and still bearly bit him by 1 point. Plushenko didnt skate for 3.5 years and still got silver, he’sgeniuos and he’s got charisma. American guy worked very very hard and gave his everything, he deserved that gold, but he’ll never be Plushenko!
